Jones holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a Master's degree in Vocal Performance from the Manhattan School of Music. Making his professional debut at the age of seventeen, Jones appeared as Gastone in Mississippi Opera's production of Verdi's La Traviata. This early start was followed by a series of notable performances with Mississippi Opera, where he portrayed El Dancairo in Carmen, Sem in Benjamin Britten's Noye's Fludde, Parpignol in La Bohème, and participated in various gala concerts.
Jones's talents have graced the prestigious stage of Carnegie Hall, where he sang the soli in Schubert's Mass in G with the Southern Chorale and the University of Southern Mississippi Symphony. His international presence is equally impressive, having toured Spain as a soloist with the Triumph Chorale, performing in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, and Zaragoza. Additionally, he has showcased his vocal prowess in Portugal and France, captivating audiences with his powerful performances.
An alumnus of the Daniel Ferro summer opera program in Greve in Chianti, Italy, Jones performed in numerous recitals, further honing his skills. He also participated in the Aspen Opera Festival of Music, where he had the opportunity to perform in scenes concerts as Marcello in La Bohème, under the baton of Maestro Patrick Summers of Houston Grand Opera.
Jones's collaborations extend to Opera Memphis, where he featured in an all-American recital. His versatility as a performer was further highlighted when he joined the Corinth Symphony as a soloist for the Martin Luther King and Leontyne Price Tribute concert, as well as their Holiday Christmas concert.
